2008 Lucie Award for the Aftermath Project -- Sara
Terry was given the Lucie Humanitarian Award for her work in founding
and directing the Aftermath Project. The Lucie Foundation cited
the Aftermath Project as having "the power to educate and change
perceptions, policies, and lives, and cited Sara for her "exceptional
achievements and contribution to the world of photography through
the work of the Aftermath Project." The awards ceremony was
held at Lincoln Center in New York. Learn
